Dance, one of our most fundamental modes of expression, holds several mysteries and challenges. In particular, as a researcher and a dancer, I am interested in contemporary dance because it is constantly renewing itself, pushing the limits and exploring new aesthetics. I will show you in my TEDx how I use technology in order to extract knowledge from dance, to create new tangible traces of dance and new dramaturgies on stage
« Hybride », c’est ainsi que Sarah Fdili Alaoui, enseignante-chercheure au Laboratoire de Recherche Informatique (LRI)-Université Paris-Sud, se définit. De fait, si elle œuvre au dialogue Arts-Sciences à travers ses recherches sur les Interactions Homme/Machine, c’est en tant que chercheure en informatique ET danseuse. Une approche qui ouvre des perspectives nouvelles pour les premiers intéressés – les danseurs – mais aussi les utilisateurs d’interfaces numériques.
